Alpe d'Huez

Alpe d 'Huez is an excellent all-round resort. High and extensive slopes, which cater well for all abilities, are assisted by an efficient lift system and impressive snowmaking facilities.

Excellent learning slopes fan out into intermediate terrain with some truly testing terrain found on the upper half of the Pic Blanc, which dominates the landscape. There can be few resorts so convenient for different standards of skiers/boarders to meet up at different stages of the day. At the same time it's also possible to ski/board over to some of the charming and traditional French villages which lie at the far reaches of the piste map.
