Megeve
Megeve is so synonymous with French chic, it's easy to overlook
the size of it's ski domain. 300km of pistes in the resort itself,
is a very useful statistic, however it pales in comparison with
plans to create Espace Diamant, an area of 600km, linking Megeve
with Les Contamines, Les Houches and Praz sur Arly.
Founded by the Rothschild family back in the 1920's to entice
Europe's cream of society, it's now somewhat past it's heyday,
with the creation of higher, grander and tougher ski systems.
