At the heart of the French Alps, a good hour closer than it's
rivals to many of snow-sure mega-resorts in the Tarentaise region(3
Valleys, Val d'isere/Tignes & Les Arcs/La Plagne). Rail and
bus transfers are possible from the station twenty minutes away,
but it's possibly easier to hire a car or organise a private transfer.
